M. Lee Ahmet

M. Lee Ahmet, a dedicated writer, is a forty-one-year-old woman living in Brooklyn, Connecticut. She is a 2001 graduate of Killingly High School and studied fine arts. Her journey into literature began at a young age when she displayed a significant interest in poetry. Despite her young age, she was already composing and submitting her work. Her first considerable achievement came at seventeen when her poem “Mom” was published in an anthology by a well-known poetry site, marking the start of her literary career.

M. Lee is an author who prefers to write nonfiction novels. She has three published books, the first three of which are nonfiction. Her most recently published novel is Toxic Vows, an “empowering” story about overcoming a few troubling events and a vicious union between her and someone that a higher power did not intend for her. However, the two had to create a life together—a son. A loving bond like no other in this world (a mother and her sons).

Now that her third novel has been completed and recently published, M. Lee Ahmet plans to review and improve her other two books. Once this plan is complete, she will start working toward writing her fourth novel. This tale will be a departure from her previous works. This upcoming novel will explore the complexities of love, loss, and fixation as a young couple finds themselves deeply in love, only to discover that sometimes love isn’t enough to stay. It’s a story that will challenge readers to consider the balance between following their heads or their hearts.

A young woman tries her hardest to stand by her significant other despite everything. Old ways can make it difficult to hold on even when the love is going strong. It truly is a problematic aspect to commit to someone who gives up on themselves ultimately. Thus, the overall relationship becomes strained when the person who becomes caught up in the wheel is ready to walk away from everything, including their family, to keep the issue going strong. This novel will be called “Pain is Holding the Disguise.” Pain is Holding the Disguise will be similar, but also different from Toxic Vows. Her story is to be composed in the fiction genre. It’s about a couple everyone would envy in the beginning, but not so much in the end.

NEW
Release...

Toxic Vows is a non-fiction story about a short-lasting bond. This tale is about a young couple who fall in love and exchange sacred vows through marriage, only to realize that holy matrimony should have never been an option. Life is all about finding that one person you cannot live without. Unfortunately, this is not always that simple. Life experience often has ways of proving that exact theory to be correct. Deep down inside both of them, old demons strongly arose to the surface.

What happens when the love is not pure? What occurs when the love becomes toxic? Affairs, justified jealousy, and alcoholism take over the relationship, and domestic violence breaks out between the two. When the relationship between two people turns downright poisonous, then so do the promises exchanged through God. The love that both people hold becomes null. Toxic Vows reciprocated in the moment of happiness and love, lead to the unforeseen abandonment of a husband and father only four months after the birth of their newborn son. It becomes something much different when the ending catches you by surprise.

Toxic Vows is a story of how the wrong love can appear perfect. It is a narrative of how two people became blinded for the universe’s sake, which was creating a life together.

Living Within A Negative Mind

Dark Minimalist Vintage Portrait Photo Ripped Paper Book Cover (3).png

A middle-aged woman becomes haunted by events she faced in the earlier years of her life. She’s often held deep within the core of her past. She has yet to learn how to escape the torment that becomes her mind. She makes an honest attempt daily to avoid the series of her thoughts, which usually escalates into a domino effect and feeling of negativity she’s unable to escape.

She struggles daily due to a shattered childhood and a traumatic series of events that cause her triggers and poor mental state of mind. She developed a lack of confidence in her youth that follows her around “today.” She’s held as a prisoner of her mind and often feels bound to the broken words spoken in her past. She’s unsure of how to effectively let go of the pain as she clearly remembers everything and somehow holds on for dear life.

In the wake of feeling at rock bottom, she needed something “more” to believe in, other than the negative aspects she had adhered to in her youth. She has faith that everything often works out for the best in its own way. She believes everything happens for a reason, even when the reasons are unknown. She values her spiritual beliefs and holds them very dear to her.

“Living Within a Negative Mind” is an autobiography of a woman attempting to live her life and make the best of it.

Betrayal and Corruption

Black Modern Lie Ebook Cover (1).png

There is always that one event (or series of events) you will NEVER return from. It takes you over and then right back under again. It truly opens your eyes; therefore, you will never be who you were before. You have no idea how to be that person again, so all hope becomes lost. Once life changes someone in such a way, there is NO coming back from the pain that completely destroys you. In most cases, we can never find our way back to become the person we were before.

The year 2012 was a complete turning point in her life. A young mother turned to evil without knowing the absolute and painful truth. She trusted those she never should have trusted. A valuable lesson was well-learned. She realized no one is who they appear to be, and no one is worth trusting anymore. 2012 taught her a lot about life, love, and people (in general). A “fatal" mistake involving a dangerous babysitter, along with (her) two accessories and a corrupt government agency left her and her children in a completely vulnerable and depressive state of mind with nowhere to turn.

Betrayal and Corruption (The Untold Truths of Connecticut Child Protection Services) is based loosely on actual events with a special twist. My words define a story of true crime drama and hold the concept - that no one ever knows the person or people standing next to them.

My Thoughts Planner

M Lee Ahmet designs low-content journals and monthly planners. She created a journal for your thoughts. M Lee also writes full-length novels. Her preference is to leave all dates customizable. It becomes understood that we only sometimes have the inspiration or time to write daily. She chose to allow a continuous writing template to avoid a waste of any pages.
